Halloween and Daylight Savings Time are Approaching
Good morning, and Happy Monday. I hope everyone had a great weekend. The leaves are peaking, and the days are getting shorter. The sunsets are vibrant, and the Moon has been constant. Halloween is creeping up, and the decorations around Bay Shore are abundant. From skeletons to witches, and pumpkins to Mums, the homes and businesses that line the streets around Bay Shore are whimsical and colorful. Party City in Bay Shore has an array of decorations, masks, and costumes, and it's a fun place to shop. What will you be this year?
We have just about two weeks left of Daylight Savings Time and, on November 7th, the clocks go back one hour, giving us an extra hour of sleep. So how can we lighten up the darkness? Burning scented candles this time of year is so comforting and brings a glow to every room. I especially love candles from Huntington Home. These three-wick candles burn slowly and give off a pleasant aroma. Pumpkin Spice is the quintessential scent for October, and the Vanilla, Gardenia, and Winter Balsam candles are perfect for all seasons. You can get all of these at Aldi, and the Bay Shore location has a great assortment. Huntington Home candles also make great gifts and are the ideal accessory to any holiday table.
Enjoy the remaining days of October. Happy Halloween!
Love and Peace,
Skylark
