Sunrise

Sunrise can be a gorgeous time of the day when the sky is clear. Thursday morning was perfect. There was a slight mist over the main lake in Brightwaters, and the sky was illuminated in gold. It's at the precise moment that you can capture such beauty, and you can miss in a second if you hesitate. I was there at the right time on this morning. As I drove around, the colors began to shift, and a cast a blue appeared as the water glistened in the sun.

Sunrise is a good time of day to set your intentions. It can be a spiritual time of prayer, a contemplative time to work through a problem, or a time to be still. Morning is the period of time between midnight and noon, especially from sunrise to noon, so that's a good amount of time to imagine the kind of day you want to have. Intentions are a good start. They cement our thoughts in the direction of our mind. It's a good practice, and it's very effective.

When you awake tomorrow, ask yourself what you want your day to be like. Will it be golden, or will it be blue? It's up to you.
