SKYLARK'S ARTICLE OF THE WEEK - ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE
I have always been self-motivated. I believe anything is possible. I live in my fantasy mind where I reinvent myself. I imagine the life I want to live, and then I create it.
As a child, I played in the woods in my backyard where I'd spend hours with my girlfriends inventing a pretend world that we'd step into. I loved the smell of the ground and the feeling of my naked feet touching the cool soil. In the summer, the warm pavement was comforting. When I lived in the city, I'd slip my shoes off and walk home from the subway as the hot cement massaged my feet.
I think we live many lives within our lifetime. The key is to go with the flow trusting that anything you imagine is possible. How do you think people become successful? They believe in their desire and go after it. They know instinctually that what they want is possible.
Some people have bigger aspirations than others. Some of us want a simple life while others want to make the impossible, possible. People who think “I can do anything” think positively about themselves and the world. Believing that things will work out does not mean overlooking reality nor does it mean you are ignoring problems or making light of issues.
Anything is possible in life when you have these 5 things:
1. Clarity about what you want in life.
2. Precise planning or the knowing how to get what you want.
3. The ability to adapt and overcome.
4. Purposeful persistence.
5. A “Make it happen” mentality.
You Are Born With a Richness of Gifts
So much is possible in your life. You have great value. Rediscover your inner strengths by opening up to them through the wisdom of your inner self. You will discover your inner self when you take time to discern what you enjoy doing. Sit still and allow things to come to you.
What Do You Love To Do?
Do you like working in a team? Do you prefer to work alone? Are you good with people? Do you like to problem solve? Do you love to resolve conflict? Do you like to tell stories through the written word, audio, and or video? Do you have a flair for the visual arts? These are a few of the questions you can ask yourself. I'm sure there's a burning desire in you.
The more you learn about yourself, the more you will know what feels right for you to do. You will discover the dreams that are calling you into action. You will know what you need to do. The possibilities are endless.
You will notice a lightness in your heart, a warmth in your body and a calm in your mind when you discover a new path in life that is right for you. Getting started can be the hard part, but once you do, it will get easier.
Be Aware Of Your Inner Critic
Often when you try something new, your inner critic will try to pull you back. The inner critic is that negative voice you hear in yourself that desires to keep the status quo, or to dim your light. You deserve to shine brightly. There is only one you, so have fun with yourself and turn up the volume.
Under stress, your inner critic will tempt you to follow old habits. The quieter your inner critic is the possibilities for new life grow exponentially. So silence that critic.
You Have Value and Worth
You make mistakes. This doesn't mean you are not worthy. You deserve to be loved no matter what mistakes you have made in life. To be human is to love and be loved. Love is the driving force.
Anything's Possible
Once you free yourself of the inner critic and the negative voices of those around you, you are then free to go into your inner wisdom. Then anything is achievable within the possibilities of your life, which is much greater than you or I can imagine.
In the beginning, you might find it uncomfortable as you try out new experiences. But the more you do it, the smoother it will get. The first step is the hardest. You will open a flow of energy within you that has been waiting a long time to come out. You will be surprised by the new opportunities that will come your way. Providence steps in.
As you open up one direction, that will lead to another until you find your new path or paths in life. It's when we don't take action that nothing happens. Andiamo! Let's go!
You Are Amazing
Anything's possible! You were born into this world to make a difference. You have everything you need within you to discover where your path will take you. Living out your authentic life is an ongoing experience until the day you die. Enjoy the journey. You are lucky to have it.
Love him or hate him, President Trump believes in himself. He never gives up. He is driven by passion. He knows what he wants and knows how to get it. He believes anything is possible. Because it is.
Peace and Love,
Skylark

SKYLARK'S HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK
Proof that anything is possible, history was made this week when Republican, Donald J. Trump became the 47th President of the United States. He was also the 45th President from 2016 to 2020. Trump is only the second person to win two non-consecutive terms in the White House. Grover Cleveland was the 22nd and 24th President of the United States, serving from 1885 to 1889 and from 1893 to 1897. Cleveland was the first Democrat to win the presidency after the Civil War.

SKYLARK'S SONG OF THE WEEK - POWER TO THE PEOPLE by JOHN LENNON
LYRICS
Power to the people, power to the people
Power to the people, power to the people
Power to the people, power to the people
Power to the people, power to the people, right on
Say we want a revolution
We better get on right away
Well, get then on your feet
And enter the street
Singin' power to the people, power to the people
Power to the people, power to the people, right on
A million workers workin' for nothin'
You better give 'em what they really own
We got to put you down
When we come into town
Singin' power to the people, power to the people
Power to the people, power to the people, right on
I got to ask you, comrades and brothers
How do you treat you own woman back home?
She got to be herself
So she can hear herself
Singin' power to the people, power to the people
Power to the people, power to the people, right on
Now, now, now, now
Oh well, power to the people, power to the people
Power to the people, power to the people, right on
Oh yeah, power to the people, power to the people
Power to the people, power to the people, right on
Power to the people, power to the people
Oh well, power to the people, power to the people
Oh well, power to the people, power to the people
