The Bay Shore Historical Society will meet Thursday, June 20th, 2024, at 7:00 PM at the Bay Shore - Brightwaters Public Library (1 South Country Rd., Brightwaters, NY).
Our presentation “Scoring The General” will feature guest speaker J.K. Hodge who will perform his original score to accompany the 1926 Buster Keaton film “The General” inspired by the Civil Wars’ infamous Great Locomotive Chase. Hodge is a talented pianist who composes music to go along with silent movies.
